Finally Finished!!

I am finally in my new studio, which I have started calling my cottage. I have been working for about a week to get everything in order. Ricky helped me put up my baskets yesterday and I made my design wall. Just a few more pictures on the walls and all will be done.

This is the view from my door. I have my fabric in the baskets and also in the cabinet.
This is looking toward the front. In the front part of my cottage I have my supplies for scrapbooking and oil painting. The rest is for sewing.

I made this design wall yesterday and I wanted to place a few blocks on it. One is from Spring Fling. The other 2 are from "A Country Journal" block of the month. It is so nice to be able to start a project and not have to worry about cat hair getting on the fabric or having to make sure to put it up so the cats won't sleep on it. Don't get me wrong, I love my cats, I just don't like the hair on everything.

Find of a Lifetime!

How blessed can one be? One of my friends told me about an online auction that had quilting items on it. My goodness, what a find. A local clock and quilt shop was closing and all of their inventory was sold online.

I was fortunate and blessed with the opportunity to purchase 4 lots of quilting fabric. I am in quilting heaven right now. I just picked the bolts up today and brought them home.

I want to unwrap each one and lay them all out on the floor, just to look at the colors. I have so many ideas spinning in my head that I don't know where to begin. I am going to be very busy this summer and I will keep you all informed as to my progress. Thank you Lord for blessing me!

99% Complete!

Oh Happy Day! My studio is complete, except for minor touchups. I have started moving in my things and I hope to have everything in by the first of the week. I am so excited, it is hard to believe! My own studio! Something I have dreamed about for years and God has blessed me with a wonderful husband that has made my dream come true. This pictue will not be the last one, but it shows the transformation that has taken place.
